Mary Felker’s base camp is Las Vegas, NV where she spends the school year teaching high school Painting, Drawing & Printmaking Classes. During the school year Mary spends her spare time teaching at local REIs, West Elms, & local homeschooling groups. Mary also focuses on making art inspired by adventure, rock climbing in Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area, and other desert adventures.
Mary Felker attended University of Nevada – Las Vegas to be trained as an artist and art teacher. Mary has taught ages five to adult Fine Arts but currently focuses on 9-12 Grades and adult education. Mary also takes an active role in the development of art curriculum and standards in Las Vegas’s public schools.
